Simplicity Plus is an aquarium with an "in tank", internal filtration system (IFS) that incorporates physical, chemical and biological filtration of the aquarium water. It’s easy to maintain and ideal for freshwater or saltwater fish tanks; it’s not intended for use in a reef aquarium. The basic configuration of the Simplicity Plus is shown in this schematic which is drawn as if one were looking through the back of the tank. Water is "skimmed" or drained into the filter through filter slots at the top of the filter wall. It is then drawn through physical, chemical and biological filtration chambers before being pumped back into the tank. The filter chamber is not viewable from the front as all components are behind a dark blue or black wall. The size of the filter chamber and number of pumps is sized according to the gallons of the aquarium.

Our Acrylic tanks are about half the weight of their glass counterparts. Acrylic tanks cracking and shattering. Acrylic has the same refractive index as seawater so there is no bending of light, providing brighter color and sharper images. Acrylic lends itself to more interesting shapes because of the way it can be molded with minimal seams and no metal bracing. Aquariums can be created with heights in excess of about 30”, Acrylic tanks can retain heat 20% better than glass tanks.
